Dean S M Wright
Originally from Slough growing up around the Windsor area, Dean focused all his energy on art during his studies, leaving secondary school in Datchet for College in Egham, a Foundation diploma in Reading and ending up in university Hereford before abandoning his studies in search of adventure.
A poet by heart, Dean chased a romanticised view of life, moving around the globe for years, flirting with many artistic avenues before coming back home to Windsor where he began his tattoo apprenticeship.
Eight years later, after moving around Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey and a couple of years in Egypt, Dean has become a valued member of our family here in Byfleet.

Dean’s love of fine art and natural form are the main focus of Dean’s work. Working mostly in black and grey he creates highly detailed, cut-out pieces. His soft shading and realistic textures give life to his tattoos with all the care and consideration that is important to his working style

Style

Although mainly focusing his work on animals and human form, Dean does still enjoy creating simplistic, cut out style, micro realism compositions. His skill with fine-line tattooing enables him to approach most pieces with an eye for detail and a polished finished.

Freehand work is a keen aspect of Dean's more stylised work but findin a good reference is often an important start to creating a piece that Dean will aim to make work perfectly as a tattoo, no matter the subject matter.
